Ever get that smile on your face when you take that picture. Yeah, the one you weren't really expecting to be good. Once you pressed the button you just knew. And you smiled because it felt so good. Some days are just like that.
It's an interesting game we play everyday when we pick up the camera, looking for and waiting for that one shot.
This is a beautiful shot. I just complained about power lines making a mess of photos a few days back. But, you make them fit right in. I suppose it's perspective.
I usually get the feeling of "oh, oh!" when I know I have flubbed the shot. However, I know what you mean. It is such a good feeling when I know "I have the shot". I live for those moments.
I had the same thing for my most recent shot. Took it, then viewed it back and thought "whoa, that didn't look that good when I was actually composing it!"
I wanted to try my hand at a water shot so played around a little and just wasn't satisfied with what I thought I had. I said to myself, "Well I doubt you got anything but let's download them and see what you got." When this one popped up, I smiled and said, "Well it's not what I wanted, but it's kinda cool. I can do this!"
