Right UK folks! After the wonderful idea of a meet up, I thought I'd start a new thread so it doesn't get confusing.
I think London is a good central point for us UK based 365ers to meet up. Who's in?
Any preferences on day of the week? Maybe there's an event on that we can all go and shoot on a certain date. I can't do any weekend in April but May is looking pretty clear at the mo.
I'm in! I'm pretty bad up to easter. Free on the 10th or 11th. If anyone east london, i'm happy to offer my barista services pulling some coffee's for everyone at my place before heading out. Alternatively if we go central, I know a few good coffee places :)
I would love to but my partner will be working which means I have no-one to babysit my 2 year old....and much as I love him, having him tag along wouldn't be conducive to great photo taking lol!

Unfortunately my partner works 6 days a week 9 weeks out of 10....so getting a free day isn't easy lol!!
I think rather than try and arrange dates round me, the best thing is for you to arrange a date, and when I know when it is I'll see if I can sort something - as I said, I'd love to come! xx
I'd love to join in (I'm in Cambridge so only 45 minutes away) but 10th/11th April will be away for Easter holidays - but if you plan another meet-up after that, definitely count me in!
I am ok for 10th, 11th May but am happy to wait til we get a date for Lisa and helen to join in. Maybe Murray will be convinced that it is a good idea by the time we get something organised. Just on this note. I recently met up with some fellow toggers from a different website. It was the first time I had met them, ( three others ). We had planned our route and spent all day together. It was great fun, inspiring and really useful to learn about people's approaches to the same subjects. They were all really nice guys too.
lisa, why not bring your little one.. we could take photos of him and you together or even use your camera to take photos of the two of you? are there any activities we could do which would be conducive to that?
I'm recording all day on the 10th and the 11th... And playing in the evening, too! So, I can't do that - but if there's another date in the offing, I'd love to be involved... :)
Oh guys i've totally misread emma's original post.. i meant the 10/11th of april but she's unavailable on april... sorry! But reading that again, emma, did you say you're available 10/11th april now?
Im conscious of this fizzling out if we keep delaying so if you're able to make the april one, lets organise it for then (you started this thread, so you make the call on date yay). We can consider another meet in May as well.
I'm based in Sheffield, but I'd definitely be interested in meeting up. Plus, I love London. I don't know if I'd be available those dates, but I'd certainly like to meet people in the flesh. Maybe if the first one's a success, we should try other UK cities so everyone gets a chance to attend somewhere fairly local?
Ok it looks like 7 people can do 10th or 11th of April. I suggest we go with this as its a good number and maybe plan one for May/June also so that people can book it in. Any suggestions where to go? I have done the works in london lol so if you come up with somewhere that i havent been to i will be gob smacked, but also up for it.

Great idea to meet up, we are in Bulgaria that weekend though. We would love to do it some other time though. Maybe everyone could come to Stratford upon Avon sometime and take some pictures.
Ohh, I definately want in. May would definately be better for me so I can gather together some money for the train up to London (And it gives me time to talk my friend into letting me crash at hers yet again =p).
I've never been to Holland Park but it sounds great. Though most of London is good for photography. I love the almalgamation of architecture you see around every corner.
When you guys fix a date I'll see if I can be in, would love to meet you all, but don't laugh at my camera either!!! Can be free most weekends if given a few weeks notice, but not 1 & 2 May its a BH too.

1. Millenium bridge, St Pauls, Postman's park, smithfield markets, zen meditation garden
2. London Bridge / Borough Market, St Dunstans on the hill, Tower bridge, tower of london, the gherkin
I'd be up for going, but not at 10am and not in a park. London is without a doubt best at night, shots along the Thames with london bridge or the eye. So much iconic architecture and great views, just seems a waste to go to a park that could be anywhere in the world.
Should be OK for 10th April - not that keen on focusing on night-time shots though at this stage of my (non-)development - I would prefer options 1 or 2.
Okay, I know this isn't in London, but I just found out that there's a Photography Festival at Lacock Abbey in Wiltshire at the start of May during the Mayday bankholiday weekend. It includes "hands-on camera displays, living history presentations, sunprinting and camera obscura workshops, walk in camera obscura and photographer's studio."
This doesn't seem to be the only event they're doing (The National Trust site is being very vague about it all) but it would be pretty interesting if some people could go, seeing how we're all budding photographers xD If nothing else it would be an excuse to go to Lacock Abbey and the surrounding sights
ok guys, i've been a bit under the weather this week but pushing on or i think this will fizzle. Lets say saturday the 10th of April @ 2pm (gives us all enough time to do lunch etc and we should still have a few hours of good daylight).

@Murray / Ross, I do love London at night but i think the problem with this is :
1. to get really good shots you need a tripod and I think that will weigh us down... although I do like the idea of organising a specialist night group!
2. May be a bit late for anyone travellign into london
Wish I could be there! I think it is great that there are so many of us organizing gatherings! It will be interesting to see what gets posted on April 10th. Maybe we should have a special tag for the gathering photos?
