So with my 365 ending today, can I still upload to enter theme competitions?

Eventually I might do another full 365 project but I need a break... but I really have enjoyed doing the theme contests, they are so much fun. I was wondering if it's possible to still enter even if you don't have an active 365 project going on? In other words, could I create an album just for theme contests and upload to that and tag my images accordingly? Or do the images have to be in a regular 365 project album? Anyone know?
