was curious, and hadn't seen it... i am wondering how many 365'ers there are, how many active 365'ers - difference being that i imagine that some people may ave had accounts and are no longer participating, how many ace members, and the such. i really am enjoying the site and am curious for general interest. i have tried to find this, but was not able to (could be looking in all the wrong places)
@cchambers@sdpace I was just thinking about asking that in a discussion myself, just curious also. 40k you say, interesting, so many outstanding shots. the PP is just the tip of the iceberg, on which, some photos seem to have a short stay, because of the great number of amazing shots. I think mine was on for 3 hours a few days ago, ha ha. 40k, wow, hard to keep up with the few people I follow as it is. Lots of excellent and growing talent out there.
@datsyukian congrats on your 3hrs of PP! I've noticed that as well, some stay for days it seems, and some only briefly. Still awesome to get on there no matter what! I looked back through some of the blogs and I can't find where I saw 40k. Maybe I just made it up.
@sdpace@carrieoakey thank you, thank you, I was surprised, and we celbrated well for all 3! no notification when appearing on PP. could have been longer, not real sure, not there when I went to bed, got up a couple hours later and it was there, ran some errands, it was gone when we got home. after shuffling a few times, I realized why, there were SO many good ones that made it that day. Such a variety of different subjects and styles that day too.
so, 40k not a bad # to make up, lol, wouldn't be surprised if it were more, such a cool site/project/idea.
You can always go to "browse by day" and see how many photos got uploaded on a given day. If you only look up to one to two weeks in the past, that'll give you a good idea of current active users.
8,500 photos on the 1st January, compared to 5,900 1st Feb, so you can see we've up to 6,000 active users and over 2,500 didn't even last a month!
