Photo Printing Sites?

March 25th, 2010
Hi everyone :)
i'm trying to find a more professional quality outsourcing company when it comes to batch orders of prints. i'm photographing a wedding in may, and want to give something besides my safety net of sams club a try when it comes to ordering prints for the bride.
i've seens sites like mpix and smugmug, and i'm wondering if anyone has any personal opinions as to which they prefer, and why. or any reasons not to choose either of those sites, if there is another you can suggest, or if i should stay with sams club. i'd love to hear any feedback!

I've heard good stuff about http://www.photobox.co.uk/

this website does mosiac prints, could be different idea out of thumbnails

http://www.zumyn.com/

I've personally not used either of these sites though.

Emily,
A lot of professional photographers use Costco.
The key though is to batch photos with same lighting together, as they profile one image and process all from that.

I had my daughters Senior photos and our family portrait printed through MPIX and I was very pleased with them. The quality is amazing, the prices are great and print time is very quick. I would highly recommend them.

I use smugmug, but have also used Bay Photo based in Santa Cruz, California. Professional SmugMug accounts can elect to use Bay Photo as the lab, but you can also go directly through Bay. Something you may want to explore being a Californian. :)
