Most Intriguing Photo This Week

February 25th, 2011
I was looking through my pictures from this week (not that I am obsessed with myself or anything), but this picture that I took for some reason is really intriguing to me.

I titled it Ghosts Bathe In Our Boxes.

What is the photo that you found most intruiging this week? Post it!

@hotto43
interestingly, i posted my tasteless photo yesterday. it's intriguing for me. :D
it's a self portrait, by the way, and you might as well say i "photographed" myself in the place i frequent the most. :D

@nellycious That is so cool!!!!!
February 25th, 2011
@hotto43 by the way, your pic is rockin... :D
February 25th, 2011
@nellycious Thank you :)
February 25th, 2011
@hotto43 The contrast between the box and the white feet is great :)

@nellycious Ooh creepy, I am not sure I want to visit your toilet ;o). Love the idea! Not a photo for helping with toilet training!

This is the most interesting from me this week. It's a self portrait, using the available light.

@carebear That's really cool! It kind of reminds me of a ninja for some reason haha
February 25th, 2011
@hotto43 Thanks! Ninja is what I thought when I saw how the light was only showing my eyes in the laptop's reflection.

I think this is my most intriguing this week....why is teddy so lonely? why is teddy in the snow? i don't know....I like it :)

@nellycious still creeps me out ;)
February 25th, 2011
@hotto43 the feet are really cool!
@nellycious creepy... and why is everything cracking just hope it does not fall apart with you on it sometime that would suck lol but I must say that you did a good job with the edit :)
@carebear love the ninja look so cool

this one is mine for the week ... I didn't get many comments on it but something about it I just like a lot.

February 25th, 2011
@mollyanne31790 awwww so cute :) I dont know why teddy is in the snow!

@relicsong HAAHHA so cute!
February 25th, 2011
this is one I did this week entitled "Life is puzzling"

February 25th, 2011
My husband.. I stare at it and he stares back so I find that rather intriguing, lol..

February 25th, 2011
Only intriguing in the fact that you have to enlarge it or read the caption to figure out what it is, but I didn't take too many intriguing photos this week, lol.

Nod
MIne i this....wonder there the guy has gone!

February 25th, 2011
I took this forever ago but wanted to add it for the Monster theme... I was practicing on my arm with special effect make up.. The kiddos always have great costumes for Halloween.. It came out so real that I had to take a picture. Because of the real quality I find it to be intriguing.

I have two from this week:

And this one from today:

February 25th, 2011
This one of mine, because it's not apparent what materials these are right away - skin? fabric? organic? - or even what form or shape the actual object(s) being photographed are. The combination of light, shape, and texture played out perfectly, and I find it fairly interesting, if I do say so myself (which I just did : )

February 25th, 2011
@jesase Flower?
February 25th, 2011
@lolanae - Nope! Check my project for the big reveal in its caption (I'm making this much more suspenseful than need be! HA!) ...
February 25th, 2011
@kole- Ewwwww! Too real!
February 25th, 2011
Not sure, this or possible underneath, which is more intriguing in the sense that even boredom doesn't quite explain my actions sometimes, nothing does...

February 25th, 2011
I know it's just another tree photo, but I really liked the angles and how it created a "rain" feel as well as the small bird you may notice hiding in it.
February 25th, 2011
@loztsoul @buggus @pwallis @viranod @kole @lolanae @jesase @killerjackalope @lrappa

These are all great photos! thanks everyone for posting!
February 25th, 2011
Wow they are all intriguing photos. Here's mine... It's about as intriguing as I can get being such a camera rookie.
February 25th, 2011
maybe this one :)

February 25th, 2011
This is mine, I think, because there's more in it than appears at first glance.

(Can somebody please explain how to display a picture here?)
PROBLEM NOW SOLVED. Thanks Ed!

Ed
@wordpixman Hi - When you look at the daily view of your picture you'll see a "Share" field towards the bottom right of the screen. Copy and paste the data from in there directly into the 'reply' box and hit post reply - your picture will then be displayed.

@edpartridge

Got it, done it. Many thanks!!

That one is so weird, but it's one of my favourites:

This one because it has so many different things going on and it's hard to tell what it is exactly.

I do believe my bubble perplexed @toast :)

Although I found this lady more interesting - particularly because she didn't know she was the subject of many photos I took.

I love threads like this where I can discover photos that I didn't catch earlier in the week. Some really beautiful shots here.

I'm lumping mine into the "intriguing" category because every time I look at it I notice something new, like how the light obscures or highlights a different feature. It's one of the most flattering pictures I've ever seen of myself for that reason.

February 25th, 2011
Here's mine, its the only one i managed to get out this week (sickness is not a fun past time) but i just love it :3
February 25th, 2011
Maybe this one?
February 25th, 2011
Always curious about what my little guy is thinking.

February 25th, 2011
I haven't uploaded any yet for the rest of the week but none of them are this intruiging (weird?) anyway.

February 25th, 2011
I would say mine are the two I took yesterday because when people first see them, they ask how I got all of those water drops in focus mid-air. Only when you look closely, or read the description do you realize that they were resting on a barely visible spider's web.

February 25th, 2011
Wow, I love this thread! Thanks @hotto43 for starting it!

I've taken a couple this week that I was really happy with, but this may be the most 'intriguing' of the week for me:

February 25th, 2011
this one for me - i took a series of photos of my babe this day trying to capture her shadow, and almost passed this one up while editing some of them. i happened to zoom in on it after mistakenly uploading it to photoshop, and realized my reflection was in her eyes :)
