@icywarm@nikkers - tee hee hee, I'm back at work and desperately trying to focus on business and not TEAR into that box!! Not sure how much longer I'll be able to hold out... patience is a virtue and I'm not all that virtuous!
The box is sitting on my couch in my office. And I can assure you it's not empty, one of the partners walked by and wanted to my new toy so I tore into that box post haste! She's a lovely little thing and I can't wait to get her home to play.
Congrats on your new camera! I have the Rebel T1i. I think its a great line of cameras. I ordered mine online and couldn't wait until it came!! I checked the shipping order everyday haha. Hope you enjoy it.

@tkallen still how mind boggling would that be if you went to show everyone your "new camera", came out with that box and then proceeded to use it as a pinhole. Everyone would be dumfounded, then you could snap some pics of their faces with the real thing!
@tkallen actually it was a bust haha, none of the stores that i went to had the camera i wanted so i decided that it was the fates telling me that i need to slow down and continue to work on my photography and get my feet wet a little more before jumping into the proverbial dslr camera pool. i can live vicariously through you and your new one though :) so congrats!!!
