my dad has said i can have his canon A1 slr to experiment with,i will work in b&w i think so need to find a reputable supplier of film that isn't going to cost me a fortune
@rbobh69@bekki@craigdtull thanks, will browse and check which is cheapest to use while i get the hang of it again, it will be a challenge to get the shot with no option of editing
@sallycheese No problem! You can still edit the shots, you just have a few more steps to take. I've had a blast going through my 'pile 'o pictures' and using Photoshop on them!
@rbobh69 i can't work photoshop,it's usefulness is wasted on me,i can't even put the pics on disc to transfer as my netbook doesn't have a disc drive, there will be enough steps to take just to get the pics to here lol
@rbobh69 i know i'm so excited to finally get my hands on it,my dad has quite a collection of lenses and filters aswell, none of which will fit on my nikon knowing my luck ;)
@sallycheese its our poundland specifically that sells kodak 200 24 exp film, I just bought 4 rolls last week as I bought a canon eos 500 and a Kodak S100 EF I am taking a roll to be developed at boots tomorrow , no mail order services are much cheaper than the shops after postage . I think boots do 1 hour for £5.99, truprint inc p&p per film is £5 :) hope all this helps and good luck with film
