I'm new to DSLR's and I'm not rich, but I am fortunate enought to have the 50mm f/1.4 (my fav), the 55-250IS (great value for the price!) and the kit lens- 18-55 (which is highly underrated IMHO).
My wish list includes (in this order)
1- 100mm Macro (IS if I can afford it)
2- a wide angle (maybe Tokina 12-24, not sure)
3- 24-70L ($$$$)
Am I missing something off my top 3 wish list? what are your fav lenses?
I'm absolutely fiending for the 100mm 2.8L macro - want one SO badly!!! My better half is keen for the new 8-15mm fisheye which is coming out soon as well.
Canon 8-15mm f/4L Fisheye or 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 EF-S USM
Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II
And If I became a millionaire sometime soon, than
Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM :)
Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L IS II USM :)
My dream set haha, last two probably won't happen tho :(
I love my 85mm f/1.2, probably more than a person should love a lens.
The 24-70 f/2.8 also has my vote, as does the 70-200 f/2.8 IS. Really, those three lenses make up my go-everywhere kit and I can do pretty much any shoot with that.
Other great lenses I've used are the 135mm f/2, the 400mm f/2.8, and of course the beautiful 50mm f/1.2 - I do love primes most of all.
