My camera that my husband bought me for Christmas has died. It was a little instamtic Cool Pix from Fuji. Now, I use his good one most of the time, but I want my own good one. I am looking for some used camera equipment for very little money. (I live off social security because of an injury I sustained working on an Ambulance as an EMT). Any suggestions? I am a beginner, so it doesn't need to be that fancy, but I have the bug and I want to be able to capture the picture I am seeing...
@rainyroth what are you looking to spend? You can always find incredible deals of previously owned models on Ebay, can also find your local camera exchange store to procure lenses.
Not much...that's the problem. I don't even know what to look for! Digital of course...I would probably like interchangeable lenses (which I could buy later on down the road)...but easy enough that I am not fiddling with a bunch of focus knobs to get my shots. Oh...where is my old Brownie when I need it?
i agree go on ebay and see what is available re: dslr -- recently someone posted that they got a fuji with a few lens and flash all in perfect condition all for about $200.00... there are deals out there.
FIRST if you had that camera for xmas it's still under warranty so get it replaced!
SECOND if you want to upgrade sell it (BNIB unopened is good),
THIRD put the proceeds of the sale to a new camera.
Then hit the internet and see what's about. Good Luck.
