These photos cover disappearing cultures across the globe. Not only are they breathtakingly gorgeous, but the photographer gives fantastically helpful commentary. I was reminded of @pixelchix photos on some of the landscape shots. It made me want to book tickets outa here now!!!! I hope you enjoy and this comes with an apology for reduced commenting at present - will catch up soon.
Note how many pics he took to get these shots - beyond counting!!!
Amazing pictures! Absolutely incredible. I especially loved the first shot of the Kazakh hunter with his eagle and the first shot of the Malaysian diver, but frankly all of them are worth seeing.
Disappearing cultures...this is a great series. I've met with Toba Qom natives living in Paraguay. My parents are there to serve them. Their language is going extinct. Only few tribes remain. Thank you for sharing this link. It made me think of the Toba friends.
@steviesteve I thought this could make people feel a whole lot better. It was definitely something I learned when employing photographer - there were hundreds and hundreds for a couple of days and only a handful were seriously good.
@miranda Thats how I see it, I was reading an article about this photog and he said Im only here for the one shot, thats all Im taking sort of attitude.
Now unless he truly truly is amazing and confident in his skills and kit. THen fair play, but I'd much rather knock off a couple of shots just to be sure.
If a man who gets shots like that does it - then thats bloody fine with me.
I thought coming back from New York with 400 was bad!!
