Isn't it weird when you post a pic you love, and you can literally hear the silent non-response? And then people respond greatly to a pic you felt was mediocre at best! Post a picture here that you personally like, but got no love from the viewers at large. Please explain what you see in it that others might be missing.....
Here is Mr. Bones. I liked this shot when I took it, and almost a month later I still do. I like the fact that it's monochromatic, I like the sharpness of the ribs, I like the way his skull almost blends into the wall. LIKE!
I like perspective shots, so naturally this is one of my favorites. I like the light in it too and the unintentional b&w (it's not in b&w really... those were just the colors of the things in it)
Really liked this shot but it didn't receive any comments. Not complaining though, although I don't have a massive number of followers, I do usually manage to get comments on most of my photos. An opportunity to say thanks to all those who do.
This only generated 2 comments. I really thought more people would like this and comment. It wasn't to be. I just really like how in focus the water pump is, the reflection on the water. I really love this and I still do. Still baffles me why it wasn't popular.
There are amazing photos here! I've often wondered why this happens... Anyway here is a current one I did. I loved the textures and the post processing.
@rbobh69 Hahaa- yup! The lower jaw had fallen. Poor Mr. Bones "works" at a local high school, so I am sure he has suffered many a humiliation at the hand of the students- yet he tries to keep his cool.
The processing on yours is just perfect! Great textures. It should definitely have gotten more love :)
I love this one because it is my Joe, but also because of the composition and color. I am just a point and shoot Mama, no editing at all. I just take it and post it... and I love how this one turned out.
While I realize there are no editing effects, bubbles or anything special with it, I absolutely love hte contrasting color of the orange and the cutting mat. I also really like the detail of the center "pith", which is MUCH easier to see when enlarged.
even though it is my yesterday picture...i just thought it would have more views by now?
who knows
there are others, but those have a good amount of views and comments, that i thought posting those here would make me look ungrateful....even though i'm surprised that for all the views the others have, there aren't a lot of comments
sometimes I feel depending on day of the week and how late a post sometimes photo's you really are proud of just get lost in the chaos of peoples photo feed...sometimes work on the same caliber or better than something you had go popular kind of surprises you when you get zero responses lol
not saying this is high caliber comparatively but I did like the whimsy of this so I feel its one of my swept under the rug photo's
There are lots of great photos in this thread that are now getting some attention that they deserve! This one is in my second album, but it didn't get any responses. I really liked seeing the blimp fly right over my house, (I got to ride in it a few years ago!) and I love bright blue skies and puffy clouds!
From January I had a lot of "meh" shots (I didn't think much of them and few if any one commented). Howereve there were two pictures I took which I was proud of and they have been passed over
This one of my son on his bike
and this one of a grizzly bear at the natural history museum
hee hee, it's actually a big balloon filled with water. My son filled it up and was dropping it and it wouldn't brake so we took some shots :) it made some crazy blob shapes and then eventually broke & I captured that too! it was fun :)
Not as cool as flamez' water shots, but these two were two of my favourite shots this month. But I stuck them in a new album, so maybe that's why they didn't get looked at? Or maybe they just really suck LOL.
This one did get 19 views and a few responses, but I guess I was kind of hoping for more with it. Maybe it's just because he's my son though and I think all pictures of him are awesome just b/c I love him! ;-)

I just thought it was an awesome shadow, and it looked cool and you could see what she was doing...obviously I was alone in this thought lmao
I think this one was my unsung fav. It was my Jan 1st pic when I began the project, so it doesn't get noticed much.

I have looked at this one before, not sure why I didn't comment. I just love the detail, so sharp.
you did a great job with this! I have yet to give it a try, then again, i don't often run into waterfalls. :) it's really beautiful!
thanks!
this one , it was taken of my middle son near the start of my project and i loved how id managed to capture the water :)
