Uk moon photographers

We're driving home and there is a beautiful red crescent moon which looks like a cheshire cat grin. I tried to photo it but my p&s wasn't able to capture it well. Has anyone else taken a moon pic today? I'd love to see any which have been more successful than my attempts!

That's an amazing photo! Can I ask what lens/settings you used for this? I'd love to be able to take pictures of the moon where it doesn't look liek a pinprick of light!
