Looking for a suggestions

March 12th, 2011
I would like to use a different editing (post processing) technique for some of my photos, do you have any suggestions? I use Paint Shop Pro so I can do most of what people with PP can do for post processing my photos. Also, I have been posted 436 photos at this writing - what style of photos do you think I take the best and what style do I need to improve on the most? I have seen an improvement in my photos over time and I am still learning photography and would like to get better.

@cirasj I've just had a quick look through your photos and I can't see anything in dire need of editing.
I am using a free trial of paint shop pro and still learning on it, I would really reccomend watching the tutorials on youtube and editing along with them, you might pick up new ideas from on there.

@emmar84 Thank you for the comments on my photos. I have been using PSP since PSP 7 and currently use X3. I downloaded some plug-ins that I will be experimenting with in the future just to try something different and possibly improve my photos. Rebbecca, http://365project.org/rebcastillo77/profile, also uses PSP and I have answered some questions for her so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Thank you for the offer Joe, on my "extra" album (odds, sods and indecissions) my most recent photo I've spent ages with on psp, I wonder if you can have a look and see if I'm missing an quick and easy trick compared to what I did.
I've written about what I did in the comment bit.

Have you any plug ins you reccomend? I'm still learning but the more things to play with the better!

What about trying some black & white? sepia? Portraits? You tend to go for the bright bold colours (like me) in editing. I found black and white a nice challenge and helps gain more understanding of light.

Hey, love your pics, especially snowy and waterfall pics. I think you could experiment more with processing, tutorials online are good, and retro-Lomo style tweeks seem quite popular and fun. As for the nature of your pics, i really enjoyed those with wildlife and people, like the charity get together with the folks running into the sea, you do them well and they're often the most challenging to take so i would say push yourself in that direction for a project.
