Please tell me the truth. I was trying to be creative. Does this look like a globe? Remember, I'm new to photography. I wanted to do something special for St. Patrick's Day.
I really like the photo, and am fascinated on how you edited the photo. I did not see globe in my mind until asked though, but then again, I was a geography major.
I think it's great! I love how vibrant the colors are -- it almost looks animated.
My daughter is an aspiring artist, and she always asks me if her art looks good, or if she's not 100% sure, she'll say she messed up, it's ugly. I always tell her that there are no mistakes in art. It's all learning and practice, and beauty is all in the eye of the beholder. The biggest question is whether you like it and if you had fun doing it. If yes, then it's perfect!
