Only 12 days left, but just discovered this site?

So, with only 12 days left of my Project 365 I discover this site. Actually it was a few days ago when I saw a friend using this place. I wanted to be able to comment on their photos so I signed up.

And then I started thinking that it would be a cool place to upload all my own Project 365 Photos too.

However, having just uploaded all of my photos for last April, I just wondered whether there was any site etiquette I was breaking by doing so?

Should I carry on and upload all my photos, even though today was Day 353 for me, or should I not upload them and just get on with commenting on the photos I was originally planning to?

Am I going to annoy people by uploading 353 photos in a very short time frame?

It depends how many people follow you Chris, as it will only appear on their homepage. Are you going to do another year but on this site? That would be cool and everyday you upload you could upload last years pic too?

@squonk I'd take the opportunity to upload them all whilst you have no followers! Only your followers get your photos on their homepage, you won't annoy anyone else :) I'll look forward to having a look!

@charli321 Ah, so I shouldn't annoy too many people! That's great, I didn't realise it would work like that.

As for the 365, I'm looking forward to getting it finished. I wouldn't rule out doing another in the future, but I am going to give myself a bit of a break. I'm hoping to be getting back into film again shortly, so maybe I'll be back to do a film based one. But yes, after I've had a breather.

Thanks for your help - appreciated :^)

The only people you are going to annoy are your followers because they are the only people who will get your photos in their feed. I see you only have one follower so if he/she doesn't mind you could upload your other 313 really quickly before you start putting feelers out for more followers.

@kjarn @minxymissk And thank you both too! I get how that works now :^) Will go ahead and get them all on here as soon as I can.

Now that I've read that you are only planning on doing one year why would you bother uploading them all on here - what would the benefits be?
March 19th, 2011
@kjarn oh, erm, that it would have been a good place to keep them all together and see what other people were taking at the same time etc. Okay will stop I guess.

Chris, good luck with the back-loading - is a time consuming process! ... I'm busy doing the same myself, although I haven't been doing a 365 Project; still, I decided to pick and upload some of my favourite past shots ... no-one have complained thus far :-D

Don't let me put you off because after all it is your project. I could be wrong but I've heard whispers about projects only staying complete on here after the 365 days if you are an Ace member - maybe you should check that out.

Why not upload all your shots and then continue on for a second year, we are a great bunch of people and its a great site.

I think I'd finish the next 12 days, order a book from Picaboo (or simular site) to keep that project documented. THEN start another one here! Yeah, I know that sounds crazy, but you'll find the other users on this site to be incredibly supportive. It really is an amazing network of people with one common bond of photography. I love logging on to see what folks from all over the world have offered up for the day, I have learned so much from them and the project in general.
