So....my camera died right before Christmas and I had to send it in to get fixed.
While I was camera-less I spent some time focusing on the pictures I already had. There were a bunch that I had never even seen! Yeah, I was that backed up!! The camera returned a few weeks later and sadly, I barely touched it all winter. I'm not a big fan of snow or the cold, so going out and freezing my rear off wasn't sounding too appealing. I'm an outdoors type of person and that's where I like to focus my photography. Staying inside taking photos around the house wasn't that appealing either. Instead, I decided to take some time off from the actual act of taking pictures and focus more on the pictures themselves. I do post processing on my pictures - mainly a signature/watermark for my website, a few artsy touch-ups to keep things interesting, and have been playing around with GIMP a lot lately too (focusing right now on adding texture). I'm not completely caught up with my website and pictures, but the first day of Spring sounded like the perfect day to make a comeback!
