so, i've never had this problem before...well, i've always been able to solve it, that is.
i usually take a bajillion photos, narrow the bunch down to a few, edit those, then pick one. and it usually isn't a super hard choice. today...i COULD NOT decide!!
and its just my socks :P
i uploaded them both to my extra album...maybe its silly because they are so similar, but i couldn't choose! the editing is what sets them apart more so then that they are different shots.
sooo, if this was your dilemma, your shots...which would you pick and why? the why is more important so that i can learn..learning's the goal :)
I'll take the first because I like the clarity and the pose. It also looks like you were at the edge of the water and the shrubs were the reflections. 2nd one has a bit of drama so I'll choose that one too! hahaha, its very hard :D
@indiannie_jones@ggg thanks, guys....i am staring at them side by side and still can't pick. i loveee the sky in the second one too...but the pose in the first...i wanna combine them!!
@indiannie_jones hahaha, well at least i'm not the only one...lol. i thought i was being silly, and someone would tell me one was obviously better than the other. so i feel less silly now :)
I love the sky in the second one, but I like the crispness of the socks in the first picture. It reminds me of finishing up a long hike and sitting on the deck having a beverage. So the first.
@brumbe yes, the tone of the first is way more...fun, maybe? relaxin? the second has a completely different tone...drama in a way, i guess.

I like the first one just a little more than the second...but yeah, I like them both for different reasons so I can understand why you can't choose! :)
To me, the color pop in the first one matches the fun/funky feel of the socks. While the sky is great in the 2nd one, it seems a contrast in ideologies with the diminished color and lesser sharpness.
I choose #2. Composition is better to me, I like the toe pointing the sky. And the sky looks very nice in the 2nd pic. Also the socks pop out better because the bushes/trees are not visible. The colors look better to me also in the 2nd one, quite natural and calm tones, contrasting the busy patterns and colors of the socks.
I'm no professional or anything but I find the first more appealing. I like the colors and the clarity. Bright socks, bright background but that's just me. They are both good though and they are very cute socks!
@brumbe@ericaleigh017@tkallen@janmaki@lr86365@lalola616 well.....everyone makes good points!! lol....1's overall tone does go with the socks more....but 2...there's just something about 2. i think when i really boil it down, i lean more towards 2. but still!! ah, i like them both. i'm just going to settle on liking them both. lol. thanks for helping....i understand some things now...like, have the props mesh with the tone. thanks everyone!

I´d go for the first one because of the fresh coloring. I think it matches the socks well and brings out the color in them, Maybe cropped like the second one?
