missing a month, wwyd?

Hey everyone

I had a hard drive failure last month and lost everything, annoying. Anyway I tried to keep up with the project but without a computer quickly got out of the habit. I have been taking photos but definitely missed a few days and havent been focused on the project day to day.

So I now have my computer back up and running and I'm now wondering what to do about my missing month. I could upload photos from the last month to fill in the gaps or I could just leave a month blank.. If I do fill in the blanks, it won't be from those exact days but from a similar time period. If I don't fill in the blanks then I have a big gap in my project..

Has anyone had a similar experience? What did you do?

Thanks!

funny... my computer died last month... and tonight I just uploaded 20+ images to fill the gap...

I'd just fill in the gaps. I often miss days because of family commitments (although never a whole month, a week at the most) but then if I have taken a lot of shots on a particular day or do a big macro set-up I end up with lots of very different shots of the same subject so I like having fill-in spaces as it can be hard to choose. I made a decision that I'd rather not upload on a particular day than upload something I wasn't happy with just for the sake of 'keeping up' - there's no right or wrong, so if you want to use fillers, go for it.

I would fill the gap but not in one time, no more than 2 or 3 each time. It's so boring when there's a big upload, never look at all the pictures!

don't even worry about the gap- jump back in as if today were the next day on your list and go from here!

I saw on a post that someone wrote " it's your project- you are in control of how you follow it".
Don't feel pressured to keep up- life gets in the way sometimes. Take it day by day and upload a few photos. No need to overwhelm yourself!
