I'm not an advertiser for Adobe, but I thought others might be interested to know that Adobe Lightroom is $100 off right now. Gave me a good excuse to finally get it! :-)

And if you're an educator or student, you can get Lightroom 3 for a mere $79 through Amazon.com. I bought it and LOVE it!

@dejongdd What qualifies one as a "student" or does it really matter? I mean, technically, I don't go to school but I am an actively learning photography..LOL

figures...I bought it 2 weeks ago! But- I did get it for around the same price from buy.com. I am told that you need to show a qualifying Student ID to get the student version and you can not use it commercially.

@arrayofblues You have to show a current, valid student ID to qualify.

@arrayofblues I don't know about amazon but on the Adobe site itsself you can get their products at student rates & you can do that even if you have a child in primary school & all you need is a copy of a report card.

@dejongdd Is there any difference between the original version of lightroom 3 and the student/teacher version?
