Using google chrome browser - there are a number of false "your computer security compromised" or similar junk and shows a red "google" screen and supposedly is scanning your computer for malware - when in fact it is trying to download malware. My security (Symantec) picks it up. The quickest way to get rid of it is to close the browser right after the red screen appears.
This just happened to me!!! About 1/2 an hour ago! My security picked up a W32 something virus and it said it came from Twitter??? I am not on Twitter?? panda is my security and caught but what is going on? Happened while browsing another persons photos. Is it possible that if that person shares photos on Twitter that it can get to us from there?
i don't use antivirus software. when taking my C++ and NT+ class we had to learn how to manually remove that crap from the registry, then tweak it so a virus will never install again. Geek Squad won' t do this on account of business and it's a way for them to catch perverts. just keep your antivirus programs up to date, i guess.
it has only happened once to me and it was tonight, but i had been browsing photos and all of a sudden got a pop up from my security... just thought it was sort of weird.
This has nothing to do with our website, you must have a virus on your computer and it was coincidence you were on 365. Again this is not a problem with the website so don't panic!
