Happy Makeup Free Day!!

So, this is an event I started on facebook to draw attention to the unrealistic beauty ideals put out there by the media in general and the expectation for the young women in our lives to live up to these ridiculous standards. Just for fun, and just for one day, I've invited everyone to post a make-up free, unedited selfie to celebrate your own, unique, natural beauty. Great response so far, and I'm loving seeing all those gorgeous self portraits going up. Thanks for the support everyone and Happy Makeup Free Day all you gorgeous ladies!! (And even a few men, lol)

Guess I'll have to join in sometime. Dont usually wear makeup anyway, but I do have a habit of doing some post processing to soften and blur *guilty as charged*

This doesn't happen very often (taking a selfie that is) and I was lucky to get the right lighting so I didn't look real awful :-)
