It is interesting that no matter which browser I use, when going into 365 project, I always get one of these "...(insert browser name here..) has found a security breach, and will scan your computer" and then attempts to download software that my security software blocks. Once having closed out my browser, I can usually get back in with no problem.
The responses to my previous discussion of this problem was greeted by " we don't have any problem here." and the thread was closed. Me thinks you protest too much.
This is the LizaMoon virus that has affected millions of sites in a matter of days. On computers that have decent antivirus and ad blocking software, no one sees anything. I haven't seen anything, either.
This virus has affected millions of sites and those without good protection. It does exactly what you've seen: it tells people you have a security breach, sends you to a page where you can "purchase" software, and steals your information.
@miata2u Norton Antivirus and McAfee are both good programs. Try finding a good ad blocker online. I use Firefox and have the Ad Blocker add-on. I think that is what keeps me from seeing the virus from the 365 Project.
@lislee75@jasonbarnette@cchambers - This only happens on this site - I have found this with both google chrone and firefox. I do have another machine with ubuntu - so I'll try hooking that up to this and see where it's going - as well as the other good suggestions which you all have shared. Thanks.
Have McAffee on one laptop = 3 infections that locked out the computer ;-(
AVG on the other two = no problems and it's free :-)
Google Chrome running on all three. All of the virus infections (on the one laptop remember) came through banner adds on eBay, biggest rule is DO NOT click on ANY pop-ups that warn of an infection unless you KNOW100% it's from your antivirus software.

It is fairly low-key and mostly just a pain. You can read more about it in this CNN article I found yesterday. http://money.cnn.com/2011/04/01/technology/lizamoon/index.htm

Avast - Never used it
McAffee - NEVER on any of my computers EVER again,
Norton - Hogs too much of the system resources for my liking
But each to our own ;-)
