I've seen a lot of photos and discussions posted where people have said they love RAW because they don't have to worry about exposure in the field, or that they shot 10 photos to get the exposure right.
So that got me to wondering...who owns and uses a light meter?
I have the Sekonic L-358. I love this light meter because it has a built-in transmitter for triggering my strobes when used with Pocket Wizards, so I can always test my lighting when setting up for events or portraits.
Eventually, I'll sell this one though so I can get a light meter that also allows me to do spot metering that will help with my landscape photography. http://www.adorama.com/SKL358.html
I also use a Sekonic. Just an L-308S. I don't tend to use it much outside of the studio, unless shooting film, but I always have it with me just in case.
