iPad Photo Apps

April 5th, 2011
Need Help...my PC crashed and for now I have my iPad for uploads and editing. If anyone has feedback on photo apps that I can download to my iPad for editing. I'll take any suggestions, the overload on apps is overwhelming. Thanks 365'ers!!!

I have tried 2: PhotoPad and Auto Adjust. They are free and seemed serviceable.

Sorry to read the bad news! I use photo gene, impression, photo pad. You should also check out photofunia--so fun! Good luck Angie!

I use photogene, but the clone tool for that one is awful, so I use touch retouch for healing/cloning. I'm going to be sans-computer in a week while we're moving, so I'm going to be editing only on my iphone and ipad too.

I have filterstorm on my iPad, i haven't used it much because I use my laptop but when I buy the camera adaptor for my iPad I will start using it.. Filterstorm was specifically designed for the iPad..

@angievega Check out Iris! I don't have an iPad but I use Iris on my iPhone and it's amazing. Textures, layers, masking, effects, plus the basics...its a very powerful little program. Diptic is great for making collages.....

This has been really helpful!

But to take this a bit OT, can anyone tell me if its possible to upload photos direct from your iPad? I tried, but this site is telling me I need flash but I can't download for the iPad.

@mimma_blue -- you can not upload photos directly from the I pad. You will need to e mail the photo to your 365 e mail address--you can find it on your upload page.
I do all my photos on my I pad.
@angievega --thanks for posting this discussion! I have more photo apps to test out!

Just to clarify the last answer, you can upload from your iPad by emailing it to your 365 account. Then when you go to the 365 upload page, it will show that you have an upload waiting and you click on it. You just need to know your 365 email address.
