I just wanted to inform everyone that today is One Day WIthout Shoes. The point is to go barefoot all day. This is to bring awareness about 3rd world countries where shoes are needed but are not in great supply. By not wearing shoes other people will ask why and hopefully will buy a pair of TOMS shoes, who will then be able to provide shoes for those in need. @ibelayni Aussie "lads" wander barefoot all the time, in fact many restaurants display dress requirments "shirts and footwear must be worn"!! (Thongs not acceptable). Just to clarify In Australia a thong is not underwear!!! They are "flipflops"!!
@michellegaynor We have those signs in America though we are allowed to wear "Thongs" =] @laneylynn When I was in highschool most of our teachers allowed us to go barefoot but we usually had to give a little speech about the topic first =]
