Her experssion is almost a warning, lol-hey mom....too late :(

Yes always be aware of your surroundings, I saw a youtube of wedding photographer landing backwards into a fountain-makes you cringe. I have had an embaressing situation, and many close calls.

Was walking and taking pictures, turned my head, and a tree branch went right in my eye! I get hurt a lot so this seems ordinary for most people who know me. Hah.

I know what you mean! The other day I walked out onto a jetty, and I was so nervous about falling in the water, but I just had to do it! I kept thinking, what will I do for 365 if I ruin my camera? But I got a cool shot and all worked out ok.

There was also an object challenge a while back about cans, so I thought it'd be fun to let my kids shake up soda cans and burst them open to get some fun shots. So I told them to throw the cans in the air to get them good and shaken, except they threw them towards my camera on the tri-pod. Luckily it worked out ok, but I was thinking how awful it would be to lose my camera with a flying can of soda. haha

Yesterday taking my picture I stopped in a crosswalk because there were no cars coming and it was the best angle of the picture I was taking, but then after I snapped my picture I tripped over the curb of the sidewalk and fell. Luckly there was no one around to witness this haha

A lot of time I'll take my camera out after I leave school (work). One day this spring I saw a great shot on the lawn of our local park, but to get to it I had to step through a bank of melting snow. Of course, I'm still in my dress clothes and definitely not wearing proper snow shoe attire. In my attempt to cross the snow bank, my foot slipped and down I went...into the melting snow. My butt was soaked. And to make matters worse, there was a cute young man jogging along the road who witnessed the whole thing. He didn't say anything, but the smirk on his face told me all I needed to know. Fortunately I kept my camera in hand and out of the snow. Photography is a very hazardous hobby!
