Flight from San Francisco to Paris

April 9th, 2011
Saw this on the news tonight in the Bay Area. This photographer flew from San Francisco to Paris and took a photo every 30 seconds out the window. After 2400 shots, he made a two minute video of the shots. You can see the northern lights when it gets dark.

Pretty cool idea, but that means the guy couldn't go anywhere for the whole flight!!

@viranod Haha, didn't think about that. "Excuse me flight attendant. Would you mind sitting here pressing this button every 30 seconds? No, this isn't LOST, the plane won't explode. I'll be right back."

This is really cool. I couldn't imagine not moving out of your seat for a whole flight.

Holy crap, so cool! But those takeoff and landing photos are obviously NOT computer renderings... but I know he had to say that for legal reasons... (I take photos all the time during takeoffs, LOL)

Now I know what to do to entertain myself on my next long flight!
