invalid media? what is that?

I am getting an invalid media notice in a pop up box, when posting comments. Does anyone know what this is? And why am I gettting it?

It's when I am posting a comment on someone's daily shot. A box pops up with the words 'invalid media' in it, and I am unable to post my reply.

I think I have dicsovered the problem, I put 2 exclamation marks at the end of my comment, as I often do, but when I removed them, I was able to post the reply. Weird, eh? I have never had this problem before.

I have seen this before and it has occurred when I was commenting on a photo that someone either just deleted or went into edit mode with.

I THINK it might have something to do with an upgrade I just did on my computer, and I am not liking at all - windows is a PITA

It only happened with one of my comment postings today....all the rest went up fine.

Ok folks, I have remedied my problem, thanks for your input.

I removed the update for Internet Explorer 9 and went back to IE 8, which works just fine thank you Microsoft!

Sorry to create a storm in a teacup over this, I hope that this will help anyone else, who finds themself with the same problem that I had.
