Macro suggestions?

Hey everyone. I am seeing all of these impressive macro photographs and I think it is about time for me to break down and buy a macro lens for my Canon. There are so many out there so I am just looking for some suggestions.

I just got a Canon EF Lens - 100mm - and I love it! Still learning how to use it to it's best advantage, but I'm impressed thus far with the results. Here's a shot I recently posted taken with it:)

I love my Canon 100m Macro lens, here's a few shots to show you but almost every 365 shot of mine has been with this lens since I got it a few months ago!

@pwallis That is a gorgeous photo. I would love to that have one but Idk if I could afford that lens right now tho... :( I guess I should have said I am looking for one on a budget :) Around $500 or less

@zferrie Beautiful photos! I love the one with the lil critter. I just looked on amazon at that lens and I think that one is much more realistic for me. Still a little pricey but I guess that's what all Canon's will run.

Anyone know of any other brand's that work with a Canon that are worth checking out?

Sigma has Nikon and Canon lenses. I just use extension tubes on my kit lens.

I got a cheaper set from Amazon. Didn't want to invest too much in case I sucked at it ;). Mine are Zeikos brand. They were about $60.

@sdpace Okie. I actually bought a macro/wide angle extension and it is horrible. It was only like 15 bucks so that's probably why :P
