Due to the untimely demise of my Canon G10 (untimely being half way through my daughters wedding reception) I've got hold of a Lumix TZ10 to use as my in-my-pocket-everyday camera.
Has anyone got opinions on, or has had problems with this camera?
I'm quite happy with the end results, even if I can't take in RAW, but I was just wondering what the general opinions are, good or bad.
My friend's p&s is a Lumix TZ and she loves it. My daughter used it on a trip and liked it so much she bought a Lumix (newer model). It does very well in low light - she uses it quite successfully at concerts.
TOP Camera you wont have a problem tough as old boots with a Leica lens on front ,... you wont find better in my humble opinion ...I use a TZ5 myself still 90% of my prodject has been taken on it...
Ohh I just upgraded from an Olympus to this camera - slow steps up coz I wanted a small camera to still carry around but I wanted to start playing with shutter and aperture - I'm finding it fun - lots of functions to learn tho and I really wanted a camera with burst :-)
I have a TZ7, a TZ10 and a TZ20...most of my album shot with all of them. Need I say more? (and the reason I have so many is because I'm always buzzing about - depending on what i'm doing and the risks of them getting battered depends on which one I take out! and like the additional features on each upgrade!!)
I truly LOVE that camera... great lens, no probs whatsoever. I love the HIGH optical zoom and decent sixe megapixels, to be honest I've taken better shots with my TZLumix than with my Canon. LEICA lens' rock. Sturdy camera, very easy to use. LOADS of scene modes and shutter speed options. I used it through my college course too. ;-)
I heart my Lumix, I shall never buy another camera brand, Pansaonic have adopted me into their family, and I will give them my love in return. All my photos are point and shoot but I only have a FS4.
my partner has one and i sometimes ue it. it occasionally produces some duff shots but that's because it seems to retain its macro setting once switched off - which my canon doesn't do.
he likes it and so do i - for a small camera its a nice feel and quality, but i'm a canon gal and always have been
great little camera... sister in law has one... a little over sat colours for my liking... but easy to fix in PP... only other concern is sometimes on VERY bright days (EV 14-16 if you use the old system) you will get very active clipping on the highlights through bright areas... just look for shade... or tell people with very white skin to go get a tan!
