Who Inspires You...

May 5th, 2011
I follow a few photographers on FB and every week or so they do a shout out to one of their favorite photographers.

So it got me thinking... Why dont we do something like that? I think we did something similar to this but it was a while back, and this site has grown so much since then.

I dont know about yall but I have a few photographers that I love their style/work. And I think it will be a great way to share people that others may not know about.

Share a link of the photographer(s) that you follow. They can be professional or not (even a fellow 365r). Doesnt matter!

Hope that every posts at least one person, its a great way to show others what and who inspires us. :)

Ill start...
One of my favorite photographers on 365 is leon Coetzer @afronaut
His work includes very bright colors and theres always a amazing story behind it.

One of my favorite off of 365 is... Sarah Rhoads
They inspire me so much, and I love the direction that they take with their unique style of photography. They are fun and quirky.

People inspire me for different reasons...here are a few from 365

@atalitude is a girlfriend of mine who does some amazing stuff for someone who has no formal training whatsoever. Plus she gets my humor, and has a flair for it herself. :) She also started the May Self Portrait Challenge, which I assume has inspired a lot of users.

@robinwarner is well known here for her street portraits, and she can throw down some mean flowers as well. Plus, she lives near Venice Beach/Santa Monica and gives us eye candy on occasion...

@jasonbarnette is inspiring with his wealth of knowledge about technical photography aspects, as well as business....and his willingness to share it all with us.

@nikkers is a self proclaimed bitch with a great sense of self and a great sense of humor. She also has a cute little boy that she frequently exploits on 365.

@eyebrows seems to just be hanging around after finishing his 365 to make funny comments and post an occasional awesome photo. Super helpful, great sense of humor, and apparently very cuddly.

And....last but not least, Buddy Christ.

I follow so many wonderful photograpers on this site, but too many to mention, but my fave is @parisoualleurs as she was my first follower, and she has shown me Paris, and @bill_d, cause he does what I only dream of, taking amazing shots of wild creatures.

@sdpace I couldnt agree with you more. Those people are amazing! I was following 3 of the 5 you listed. And now Im following them all. Thanks for sharing!!!

The thing I love about @robinwarner 's stranger photography is shes very personable with them! Instead of the normal sneak attack. She is one of the ones I seek out when ive been 'inactive' for a few days.

@nikkers is always good for a laugh, so many of her photos have been great pick me ups for me. Love her humor!!!

@jasonbarnette is so extremely helpful. Every time Ive asked a question on how to do something or fix something he always has a great answer. He sure does know his stuff!!!

And lets not forget you @sdpace your another one of those I see out when Ive been active too. Your photos and they way your process them are wonderful. I love how you always have a story to go with your photos. And your your humor is awesome too :)

You will find John Clement's work hanging on walls in many houses in my family (and at one point, at Qwest Field in Seattle - he was the only E. WA photographer selected to be a part of the original giant photo murals there). His Eastern Washington landscapes are just breathtaking.

The lovely lady that got me involved in this project and inspires me is @autumnseden

We met in a small group on FB and I started following her gorgeous photos and she got me hooked on the Hipstamatic on my iPhone!! This is her web site http://www.autumneden.com/

Once I started the 365 Project I've been following @buccigrossi and he's truly inspired me to keep on trying to get that perfect bird photo.

I have to say Ansel Adams is my top inspiration! I am inspired, though, by so many photographers on this site, it's difficult to name just one! That's why I love this project!
