Because this Sunday is Mother’s Day I thought it would be nice to share a picture of our Mom(s).
Now that I am a mother I realize many things. For example, I remember going shopping with my Mom and hearing “Honey, try this one on” and me answering “I don’t want to or I don’t like it.” Well of course that’s what I would say, because it’s human nature to go against anything our parents suggest. And then one day everything changed…Yes!!! As I matured I finally came to terms that my Mom had more style than I can wear in a pinky. I look back at her pictures and I say to myself “Who is this woman and what did she do with my Mother?” Many great things I can say about my Mother, but now I want to see and hear about your Mom…
Meet my Mom: Rosa M. Sanchez, the year was 1956 in Havana, Cuba
@angievega@pamdavis Thank you. Yes, she was a beautiful woman both inside and out! Her legacies will live on forever....I'm proud to have been her daughter. =)
We've already had Mother's Day here in the UK, but that's not going to stop me ..
Going to open this up a bit and include my Dad as frankly where there's my Mum my Dad won't be far behind - my parents have never held me back and have always encouraged me to do what I wanted to do, even if they didn't necessarily agree with my decisions... 2 weeks today is their Golden Wedding but even better though, in 5 days Mum @missblpsnanna finishes her 365!
How sweet to have a mom like them I do remember everything to my mom but I don't have any one of her photo, she left me behind when I was a kid at the age of 14 now I'm 34 years old and a mom of one. I'm so proud of my mom even she died early she makes me happy .
@rynce I am truly sorry about the lose of your mom at such an early age, but I can tell by your pictures and your words that the little time she gave to you, stay in your heart. You are a great mom to your daughter and that is portrayed in your pictures...Happy Mother's Day to you!!!
Picture of me, my mom and grandmother from when she was younger... I have these on the table in the entry way to my house so I can think of them often!
@hjbenson oh this is so special Harry...thanks for sharing
