Well I have been taking some pictures of my favorite flower recently, Examples being

So, I was wondering, what is your favorite flower? If you have a picture to represent it, you may post it along with your response, I would just like to know!
Another thing, do you enjoy taking pictures of your favorite flower, or do you just like it to look at it normally? Do you think it's more enjoyable through a screen or in person?
I don't think I could ever pick just one favorite flower! LOL Right now I am fascinated by some I bought earlier this week and that I have as today's photo. I've never seen anything like them before -
I've got lots of flowers - been going mad about them recently, especially tulips. however, I want to stand up for the old fashioned quince... there is a purity about this particular one:
there are several hibiscus trees in my neighborhood. i wish plumerias grew around there though -- they are my absolute favorite. i hope someone posts one!
I really can't decide. A few weeks ago I might have said daffodil. But we have a massive garden and every time a new variety blooms I decide it's my favourite. Top of my list would be tulips, rhododendron, bluebell, azalea, clematis, lily, foxglove, iris, kerria, rose, camellia, magnolia - all 3 of the types we have, poppy....ok, I can't pick!
I don't even know what this flower is and have only recently discovered it, but it instantly became my favourite flower because of the beautiful colours and petals:
Hibiscus is my favorite :) and this is probably my favorite shot of one I've taken
And this particular flower is my favorite simply because my daughter picked it and gave it to me :)
also, my brother picks me dandelions all the time :) pretty shots!
I LOVE Kielo and Carnations a bit more though! XD
and I can't wait for my passion flower to start growing larger. I planted them from seeds and i have 3 sprouts!
bloodroot
trout lily
And I love weed
I'm starting to love the cactus flowers here, too, though.
but this is one of my favourite flower pics I have taken
