Understanding Exposure

Hi everyone,

I have been reading Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson and I thoroughly recommend it as a must read for anyone wanting to learn about their camera and the technical aspects of photography. Bryan explains it in a way that is easy to understand.

The day after I started reading it I went out and did a shoot with my kids and worked on what I'd learnt...here are a couple of shots

@loopy12 Im so glad I did, I ended up getting it from Amazon for Kindle for under $10, you dont even need a Kindle, you can just download the program and then buy the book~!

I have that book too and its taught me loads! I also have another book of his called Learning to see creatively, which i can highly recommend :-)

It applies to all photography, not just portraits, but it has helped me get those amazing eyes in them :)
