I just let my ace membership run out and thought id share with u that when u do this you loose ur other albums . So all the photos i had in the 2 spare albums are unreachable . I thought they would leave them as they were but not allow me to add to them anymore .. WRONG..
Doesnt bother me , just thought id share . But i wonder if i buy another year do those albums come back ????
Tip for ppl about to go ACE ... keep it all in one album .. well thats what i would of done if i knew better.
Ross mentioned this in another thread lately - he says they don't disappear but you can't post in them anymore, though yours certainly are gone from your page :/
Suppose it's similar to Flickr - hopefully they'll pop back up if you choose to upgrade again.
I would think they would come back if you bought another year. @scrivna ???
Not to take over your thread or anything, but while we are on the topic of ACE memberships, I have a question...
If you aren't an ACE and you finish your project and want to continue with it, how does that work? Will it erase your past photos to make room for your new ones, since non-aces only get one album? Or does it just keep adding to the same album? Or do you have to create a new profile?
@meggageg yes ive got them on a hard drive all good. @indiannie_jones i dont think i will upgrade , ive already done one year so dont think i will bother about another. But who knows i might want it again lol Im more on flickr now. I try to upload something here daily but doesnt always happen. Not to worry thought id share with u all .

You can carry on adding to the same album as much as you like. I'm a non-ace member, well into my second year now, and none of my pictures have been deleted! (So far!)
@dmortega yes u get plenty of warnings. Right across the top of ur page it tells u it will expire soon . Gave me a couple of weeks notice , im not ready to put money into something that i might not be around for .
if you continue supporting the site (a mere $20 or what.. £15 or so..) you'll keep access to all albums. If you don't, you end up with the album you have selected as your 'primary' album..
Sounds fair to me and a small price to pay to 1) keep Ross in funds to run the site and 2) keep up the enjoyment of running more than 1 album..
Of course, if you want to do this on the cheap, change the date of all your pics to that of your primary album and yes, you'll lose access to the second album, but it'll always be free.......
