Shelby, don't be sad :( there are somany possible reasons; it's nothing to be sad over. They might've deleted their profile(s) or simply don't have time for everyone they follow, so they clear out a few they may not talk to often.
I don't think it's happening to me, but I unfollow people sometimes. Sometimes I'm not interested in their work anymore, or they haven't posted in awhile. I don't like following a lot of people; it makes it too hard to comment on all the pictures that show up on my home page. I wouldn't take it personally. Do this project for you, not for followers. Just keep taking your photos, and have fun with it!
I unfollow sometimes if people stop posting as it is hard to keep up with everyones shots so I try to stick to around 100 people to follow. And I often lose two or three people following me and just assume that maybe my photos aren't what they were looking for or that they are keeping their lists down so I got cut.
I'm sure it is not anything personal try not to let it bother you too much :D
I feel sad, when that happens as well and wish I knew why but as I have unfollowed people as well, when they have been silent for over two months or we never communicate, so I figure other people do the same. Don't worry about it, it's usually not you ;)!
I have unfollowed many people over the course of my project. Never because the "did" or "said" something to me, but because I haven't seen a photo from them in ages, or haven't had any interaction with them. It is very hard to keep up with this site and for me I've found that I have often missed photos from people whose photos I absolutely hate missing, or people who I enjoy interacting with because my home page is flooded with photos from others that I have no interaction with at all. I have started becoming more selective with who I follow- selecting only those I feel I might be inspired by or learn something from. Remember that other than your own photos nothing on this site should be taken personally.
sorry think it was me was going through my following list today and dropping people who are Zombies http://25tolife.net/sites/365scanner/ (who have not posted in along time) and those who never followed me back... Its really nothing personal and I'm sorry if this hurt your feelings just trying to make it easier to keep up with the home feed. You never followed me!
@mej2011 Kate Marsden posted it on one of my husbands photos but think eyebrows come up with it or something like that lol but it works well when you wont to find out who is still alive out there
It's hard not to get sad when people stop following you. But remember that a lot of people are finishing up their projects around this time, so that might be part of the reason. Also, like other people have said, if you haven't posted for awhile, some might stop following you. I look for inspiration from the people I follow, and if they are continuously posting things that I can't draw inspiration from and I haven't formed that great 365 bond with them, I may stop following them.
You don't suck and you're not offensive, so don't think like that...and you'll get plenty of followers that stick with you till the end of your project, I'm sure. :)
