Return of Glenys (Mrs Moose)

May 28th, 2011
Hi Everyone who may have noticed me missing. I am back and have so many photos I will be starting to upload in the next few days.
We are now in the Retirement Village in a suburb that is not far from where we used to live. Must say here we only moved in 22 May, it's been a long haul.

Major upheavel back at the beginning of the year, but DH has now been thoroughly well and truely done over by Doctors - Specialists - Family etc. We have been to hell and are now back he does NOT have Parkinsons Disease, and has had a complete change in his whole situation.

We have spent the last 3 months out on a property with our second daughter and partner, and DH has been active every day, working on their 2 acre property, weeding - weeding and weeding, trimming around trees, mulching, fixing fences, and transferring dirt, (can't call it soil), transplanting trees, planting new plants, and mowing on the ride on mower. The days for me were similar, but I did stop about a month ago.

I have been taking photos like I always did, but could not spend the time uploading, so I have keep them all separate so I can upload when we get back online again. I have only been on the laptop, and not real good with it so was worried I could loose things if I didn't know what I was doing.

We are having an early start to our winter here in Canberra, Australia and it has been a bit of a shock to the system. I have organised to have some curtains made for our little 2 bed room cottage, but the Consultant won't get here till 15 June, so I'm hoping that we can beat the real cold days. We have already been hitting the minus 4 -5 and even -7 one day - so we may be in for a real winter this year.

Well that had better be it for now looking forward to getting back amongst it, I missed being able to share with you and see all the great photos, and vote.

Hope you are all keeping well - happy and contented.

Best Wishes
Glenys (Mrs Moose)

Glenys, it is so good to hear from you again, and wow, what a surprise reverse on the Parkinson's diagnosis. Had he been on medication for Parkinson's? If so, wow can that in itself cause serious side effects and problems. It sounds like things are looking up. It also sounds like your life has been terribly busy too. Well, we are looking forward to seeing your photos again. Good to see you.

@miraries Yes I can hear you, but we also found Darwin was too hot, good place to be just during the winter months I grant you.
