Oh guys, I hate that I'm even writing this. (I'm so lame. SO LAME.) I've gone and burned up both ends of my candle and something's gotta give. Unfortunately for now that something is my 365. Let me explain.... :(
Now that school is out, and I am student free, I am able to focus more on editing our wedding photographs! Yay!! That is so exciting for me, you have no idea. So for the next two weeks I have to put in 40 hours each week on editing these weddings and getting us caught up.
Then, as if that wasn't enough on top of being a mom to a 2 1/2 year old, working out every day, and finding time to take and edit my own shots, I have decided to help out some really great friends of mine that have their own wedding videography business. ( http://www.filmtheday.com you should check them out!!) They are also back logged on editing their wedding videos, so in I jump to help them out.
And with all that helping, I am also using this as a job interview. If it goes well with the editing for both our photography business ( http://www.jwbaugh.com) and the wedding video editing...financially good, time-wise, and also if it keeps my interest, there is a possibility that I could quit teaching altogether at the end of the summer and only work on wedding photos and videos!!
I figure you guys of all people would realize what a dream come true this is. To be photographing and editing for my JOB?? I mean, come on. This is what I went to school for, this is what I've been waiting for.
So. For the next two weeks during my adjustment to this new schedule, I'm going to put 365 photos on the back burner and let them happen if they happen, but not stress about doing them each day. I am, though, going to troll on here and make sure you guys are being nice!! (LOL!! as if anyone here isn't nice..haha)
After that two weeks I think I should be able to recommit myself to finishing out my last 100 pics, taking one each and every day.
So, if I don't respond right away, and if I don't comment, just know that I am saying hi in my heart! haha!! No, seriously...
Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there. I usually hate these kinds of posts but here I am making one. :D Oh well, touche.

congrats to you...a girl has to do what a girl has to do. this could be a huge for you and you got to focus on the most important things. keep in touch ok. It takes allot of time and energy to be fully committed to this site...best of luck...
Go forth and create good things and bring joy and happiness to the blissfully wedded masses...but check in once in a while, cause you know you stuff is genius and inspiring and we all need our Amy fix!
Congrats to you Amy!!! You deserve your dream job! I am kinda guilty of not keeping in touch these days and suddenly my friends are going apart. I am really sad and really missed those days when I just started the project. Anyways, have fun my friend. I am happy for you! That sounds fantastic for you! And this is random, but where do you live? We don't exactly have a date set, but we're looking for a wedding photographer. I'm hoping sometime next year, unless it gets pushed back again. I'm mumbling about being poor...

@amyhughes I looked at your website. Your work is so pretty. Are you willing to travel THIS far? I know you travel, but I'm a few states East. Do you have pricing anywhere, or would I have to contact you in an e-mail/facebook?
