That lunar eclipse was really something, right?
I see a couple of eclipse shots are already being posted, so let's share them :)
I'll start with mine: Unfortunately I wasn't able to capture the total eclipse moment, but, you know, there's always next 65 years, I'll be sure to get it then.
In Australia we had the moon a wonderful shade of copper red due to the volcanic ash cloud, alas I was sound asleep at 4.30 in the morning when it was at its best.
I was hoping for a clear shot, maybe various shots of all the different phases of the eclipse, but it was raining today and you couldn't see the moon at all (I'm in Germany). There was only this one moment where you could see at least a bit of it. That's when I took the picture. But it was not what I hoped for! :-(
Hey hey hey, be happy you at least got to see something that cool haha! I'm stuck over here on the west coast of the United States and well simply put, it was lunch time when this was taking place haha. :( kinda sad too
I set the alarm this morning and had to be reminded by my other half as to why I was getting up so early. I expected it to be cloudy as it was when I went to bed last night, but it was like the clouds opened up especially for this as, as soon as it was over the cloud came back over. Not the best pic, but unfortunately as good as my lens will do :)
Great seeing what other people shot, even the clouds :) I forgot about the eclipse and only made it out just before the end thanks to a text from a friend. Here's my effort: Just wish I had a SERIOUS telephoto lens...400+ would have been really useful! :)
