Todays Photo is a Photo of A Photo all because I forgot to take my Camera out with Me, Dont ya just hate it when You go somewhere which would have had fantastic Photography opportunitys and You forget the Camera, it goes everywhere and is usually in a bag under the Pushchair but for the first time in a long long time once Hubby came home from work I went with Friends to the College Art Design and Photography Exhibition and forgot to take the Camera off the Pushchair and put it in My Bag. Ooops

its worse when you take your DSLR all the lenses tripod and a pop up reflector out on a a 10 mile hike and when you get to your destination and go to take a photo a message pops up saying "no card in camera" and you realise that it is still in the card reader on your desk from the last time, only ever done it the once

@asrai I now carry a spare card in my purse (with my licence) at all times so this doesn't happen to me (again)

Lisa... I have never forgotten my camera, it just goes with me all the time, but I do want a good small compact p&s so when I am and have limited room in my clutch bag I still have a camera (other than the iPhone)

Ive done that before realised the Card was still in the Laptop, I have a Blackberry Phone so I could have taken Photos on that, Too late now though.

@asrai Happened to me once but it was only down the road... Another time, out for shooting a band, freaked for about fifteen minutes before realizing the cards were in the top pocket of my jacket...

Photos of photos are fun...

This one being a photo of a photo from years ago and the photo from the day before...

I did it the day before yesterday too. It's not really a photo of a photo since it is an image of monitor with reflection. Liked to result very much.

@asrai that is the time I am thankful that my Olympus Dslr actually has two card holders for different media. Hey, want kind of tripod do you use for a long hike, I need a light one that will still do the job well.

This happened to me yesterday--I was prepared to take my camera on "an outing" to get some fabulous photos for summer solstice, but my battery was dead. On top of that, there was a wildfire burning which put a not-so-lovely haze over the whole of outside, thus ruining any chance of photo with my daughters P&S. So much for fabulous. I ended up posting an old photo which I took down because I didn't like it after all. Yep, yesterday sucked.

@brumbe i got a manfrotto 785B modo maxi that I use for carrying long distance managed to get it on ebay for £30, does the business (still prefer my miranda tp20 for stability, but I wouldn't like to cart it all that way :D)
