Anyone do craft fairs?

I was wondering if anyone sells their photos as greeting cards? If so where is the best place to purchase card stock?

Pam, I will check back here to see the replies. I want to sell my crafts at the fall (November) craft sale. I want to include some crafts, which use photographs. On top of my list is "make photo greeting cards". I was wondering where to get the card stock. In my city, Wal-Mart is the source for most of the craft materials, including card stock (which is in the school/home office supply aisle. I am not certain though if this store is the best place to get card stock. I wonder if the print shops (we have more than one) might have a cheap, but quality supply. We do have at least two quilt shops, but they deal mostly with fabric and quilting supplies.

I wonder if scapbooking places carry any. I do have the name of someone that a friend of mine from Vancouver Island uses. I want to check the best source and value.

@daisy ,
You can get blank cards from office supply stores, they are pre scored so that when you print on them you can easily fold the card..

also frys have a paper section..
walmart , staples, and office depot all sell greeting card papers..

@pamfromcalgary . card stock can be a bit hard to fold neatly, so would go for the pre scored greeting cards that you can buy at office supply stores..

but if you set on card stock then
school discount supply will sell it bulk..

@pamfromcalgary Pam, please let me know if you find a better price at the scrap booking place.

definitely card stock, I find it the cheapest option and it has the most choice of surfaces to suit your printer and you can produce cards any size (up to A4), you can score it yourself with a blunt knife no probs

Great question and wonderful to know!! I donated a couple photos to a silent auction at work but maybe next year I'll do this instead :)
