- Use an old one
- Wait until you have time and upload new shot to past dates
- Shoot anyway. Doesn't matter what. Can be done in a few seconds. I shoot all my images with my mobile so it's always within range. Even during meetings :-)
- Keep your camera with at all times
- Just take a photo of something that is important to you that day
- Keep a stock of photos you really like and can use when everything else fails
- Keep it fun, don't make a duty out of it :)
Always have your camera with you and have no shame! If you see something interesting, take the picture no matter what. It doesn't matter if it's a crowded area and you're looking insane. I know from experience that it's worth it. ;-)
I am a rule breaker by nature. I try to get something every day but if I am sick or overwhelmed I may use two photos from the same day. I try my hardest but in reality we may just have to call this project 352 for me. I also have not a lot of shame in using an occassional filler.
My goal is to use no filler on this project and to truly take a picture a day. There are definately days when it is not easy and I literally snap 3 photos with my camera phone and try to make something work.
I just make it happen. I always have some kind of camera with me. I post the crap. In the end, I have made this project a personal goal and for some reason am keeping up with it. The first 3 months were the toughest, now it's just a habit. I don't make myself post everyday, but I do take a photo everyday. Good luck! You CAN do it!
It's only takes less than a minute to snap a picture. The uploading and editing does take some time. I guess you have to want to do it. Maybe you don't have that desire or drive to take pictures but would like to. That's ok. Some people post weekly or occasionally. Do keep in mind the more often you can interact here the more enjoyable your experience will be. If you only post occasionally and comment occasionally you will be depriving yourself of getting to know others and vice versa. The whole point for most of us is to have this place to share our pictures with others. It's not much fun to take pictures without having someone to show them to.
I never feel pressure from doing this, I take photos when I can and put up a few from each trip. Some people do stick to taking and posting each day, I don't and neither do lots of folk here. It's your project, make it fit you, there aren't really any rules as to how you manage your account. Relax and enjoy it, I've never found a friendlier or more helpful, informative and encouraging site on the net.
Ditto @tolpol (Paul Kelly)... If it wasn't so much fun I'd never keep going. If I don't upload any particular day, I spend at least a few minutes viewing and commenting on some of the latest photos. If I don't get that time I feel like I forgot to say hi to my best friend!
