why wont my GIF work?

ok so I made this gif image in gimp out of a photo and it does not seem to work for me here in 365 or maybe its just my browser (I use Google Chrome and know that it does not like GIF images) please help if you have any ideas on why its not working. Thank you!

Define "not working"; is it supposed to be animated? It's probably down to the site resizing the image when it gets uploaded, that probably kills the animated parts.

@eyebrows yeah the eye is supposed to move and be animated

Yeah, then I don't think that'll work with any image uploaded here, I'm afraid :(

You could try to upload it to you-tube and then upload the you-tube version here.... But I don't know if you-tube works with GIF...

No, a .gif won't work on youtube. You'd have to make it an actual video file of some form to upload there, I forget which precise formats they support though.

going to make it a longer file since when I convert it it wont loop then convert to avi and upload see if that works thanks for your help :)
