@miley89 first i used the blemish correcter tool (essentially a clone tool) to remove the food marks. Then i brightened the photo and adjusted the shadows/highlight/midtones and contrast.
I then used the free hand select tool to select the eyes and add an unsharp mask to bring out the sparkle. I used the same tool to select the ladybird and increased the saturation and vibrancy.
Finally I adjusted the colour by making it a little warmer.
It sounds a lot but really took only a couple of minutes.
@bevspics Beverley, your photo was already a gorgeous picture, editing it just highlighted it more.
Editing photos really isn't as difficult as it first seems, I only got paintshop in March and since then have spent some time on it each evening, trying different tutorials or just making it up as I go along. There are people on here who really show how little I know with it and I know it will take me a lot of time to reach their level.
I don't know if this photo is a low resolution one, if it is and you want me to edit the larger resolution if you email it to me I can do it this evening. My email is emma.l.roberts@hotmail.co.uk
Well I've downloaded the 30 day free trial of paint shop!
Omg! I am confused! I have never edited any of my photo's before!
And since you edited the photo of my Daughter I'm willing to give a few of my photo's that extra sparkle!
I've just tried editing a Family shot of all the children, trying to remove Ollie the Dog as he fully wasn't in the shot?
But was completly lost!
It's day 1 of the trial, and like you said it will take time and hopefully I will learn a few tips! So much I buy the package!
Can you give me some advive on Photoshop? Do you recommend watching the tutorials? As a beginer to Photoshop! Is there a easy way around the application?
A 2 minute edit with paintshop
