Photo Editing

I have been editing my pictures a lot recently... I enjoy doing fun and funky stuff to them and I am usually pretty happy with the results.

But I am thinking of challenging myself for the month of August and only uploading raw images, with nothing retouched. What you snap is what you get kinda stuff...

I feel like mostly anyone can make a photo look eons better by editing and the challenge in not editing is that I will strive to take a better photograph to upload and share with the 365 world.

Anyone else agree or want to join me in my raw august??

My whole main project is sooc, and it's been a challenge, especially if you like editing. It does make you pay more attention to composition, lighting, point of view, etc. Good luck!

@triciaanddazzle @minxymissk I have a free membership so i can only do one at a time... so this year will be a mix of both.

I started out with a lot of sooc shots and then I found picnik and i started using it as a crutch. LOL

I don't normally do all that much to my photos, so I'll join you. Except... does cropping count? I do frequently crop cars, cigarette butts and hamburger wrappers out of my shots.

I'm enjoying having an ace membership - gives me a chance to load older photos and when I go somewhere specifically to take photos I have a place to show off the ones that didn't make 'first place.'

@dmariewms I leave the cropping up to interpretation... it is different from editing color and content in my opinion. :)
