Just in the midst of catching up on some long overdue viewing and commenting on your shots (sorry - I've been helping my Grandma move into her assisted living facility and it's been a bit of a busy week) - anyways, just wanted to send out some gratitude to everyone that hung in there through an entire month of......me:)
Just finished off my month of selfies and, although I found it a lot more work than the usual shot for the day (much more set-up, running back and forth between camera and spot to pose, figuring out pose that doesn't look completely idiotic, getting focus right, and coming up with different ideas, etc, etc, etc) - ultimately I really enjoyed it. A lot more than I thought I would. My little family joined in on the fun and we got some hilarious family portraits out of the deal. And somewhere along the way, I stopped caring about what I look like in front of the camera, and just had fun with it.
So, I wanted to thank everyone for their regular encouraging comments, fav's, and suggestions for new ideas. It was somewhat disarming but just a little awesome to see my face on the pop page more than a few times throughout the month. So........THANKS Y'ALL! You guys are the best:)
And if anyone's feeling like their projects been lagging a bit, and need some inspiration, I suggest you give the month of selfies a go:)
That was how it was for me too. It helped me so much to feel better about being in front of the camera. I liked seeing all your shots. It's always interesting to me to see what people do with the same challenges.
