lost my mojo

August 14th, 2011
this week has been tough,i have lost my mojo, not just in photography but general life.
i have fallen off the diet wagon, have failed to do a pic a day and feel generally bleurgh.

i think i may be on the way out of the slump,i went out after work last night with some good friends and rolled in at 3 am,it was a pick-me-up that i desperately needed but just felt i ought to warn folk that there may be more filler shots and general dufness still to come

It happens to all of us and therefore not necessary to explain. Just do what you need to do. :-)

Glad you went out with some friends and started back up out of the depths ;>} Look at it as a growth experience. If we never had lows we couldn't appreciate the highs! Knowing this you will look back and realize it wasn't all that bad and be grateful for the positives that are sure to come soon.

Somedays are dark and dreary, but sunnier ones will come. Everyone has those times! Peace :)

I doubt if there's anyone out there... not just 365, but everywhere... that has not had at least one experience like this in their life. Glad to hear you have good friends that can help you out of your doldrums.

It happens to everyone--my mojo has been missing lately as well. Probably skipping across the moors of Scotland somewhere...

Everybody hits at least one. And each person has a different way of getting out of them. Most of all- don't worry about how or when you hit that slump, fell off the diet wagon, or how much time you've been in it. Every morning the sun rises and you can start afresh. Sounds like your evening with friends will get you started again.

I find that even just looking at pictures or reading inspiring things online can help adjust your outlook on the day. I like this site, http://happythings.tumblr.com/

@sallycheese We all go through times like this. Keep taking and posting shots and it will all begin to fall back into place
