It's cold in New Zealand

We've had snow in Auckland, the first time since the 1930's apparently.

This film maker made a short film just as it started to snow in Wellington yesterday, it's really beautiful...

I have been inundated with wonderful pix from friends and family in NZ esp wellington of the snow....bit jealous we are missing all the action...well most of us the big kid's freezing his butt off in his ngaio flat :)

I am SO over the cold! This arctic blast has been a bit of a shock to the system! To be fair though, it IS winter, I have had next to no heating on as we get alot of sun in our house, Will is sitting here in his singlet, with is back to the sun, so it can't be all bad!

@iandec I've just watched your clip. What a wonderful capture of people's real delight in something so simple and natural. Most of the people from what the news says would probably have never seen snow before! hard to believe living here in England! Thanks for the link :-)
