Anyone get a virus from Gimp?

I hope this isn't too off topic. I finally had a little time on the computer today, and I was hoping to catch up a little on my 365 project. But my computer seems to have been infected by the Tracur Trojan virus. The only thing I have downloaded recently is Gimp. I've also used email and Facebook and browsed around the internet of course, so I guess it could have come from anywhere? Anyone else have this happen to them?

no sorry- downloaded it no problem - but have got norton security/firewall - seems to keep most things at bay. hope your computer is ok?

No. I got a terrific headache from trying to use it, once. But not a virus.

just browsing on google the other day and my firewall/antivirus software wouldn't let me open a innocent looking website because of some malicious trojan thingy, could have picked up anywhere I suspect, hope you get it sorted.....

I have no issues with my copy of Gimp besides the general confusion of switching over from Photoshop

Ok, thanks for your responses. Now I don't feel bad for downloading Gimp. I have a techie friend who is going to help me get rid of it I hope!
